　　坐在理发店里理发，耳旁传来了Bette Midler 的From a Distance。这深情的旋律已许久没有听到，但温暖与感动依然若昨。

　　你跟我不一样，不是一个喜欢买很多唱片、很多书籍、什么都听、什么都看的人。你笑我是杂食动物，而我却笑你是“没有品位”。可我就是喜欢上了一个没有品位的人。一个不懂什么赏析，也不关心什么典故的“ 没有品位”的人。虽然我时常用“没有品位”来取笑你，可是我知道你是多么的与众不同。

　　你不如我对音乐懂得多，是因为你根本不想去知道那么多。你会唱的歌曲就那么几首，扒着手指头也数得过来。可是，你跟我不一样，你把这些歌唱了一遍又一遍，总是那么用心。它们都是你最爱的老歌，跟你在一起的时间比我还要长。

　　你不善于表达，但我知道当你有感触的时候，你就会哼一些你爱的歌。其实对于一些你反复唱过多遍的歌，你连作者和歌手都不知道。这也经常遭到了我的取笑。可是想想，我不见得多么高雅。因为你是真的爱这些歌曲，你喜欢它们，所以你爱它们，唱它们，这么多年。

　　而我，对歌手、作者和排行评价之类的典故非常熟知，然而却在某一天开你玩笑的时候醒悟到自己的可笑：我竟然没有去注意歌曲的内容。而那天，你正在哼着这首歌。我问你：知道谁唱的吗？你挠挠头：是惠特尼吧？

　　我哈哈大笑、跌倒在床上。而你也不生气，说了句：歌好听就行了。然后又去忙活自己的事了。我坐在床上，不笑了。突然间为自己惭愧。我发现其实我才是真正的浅薄和没有品位。我看着你的背影，真想冲过去抱着你。
